You can check the details on CBSE New Assessment Policy Session 2021-22, CBSE boards syllabus and exam pattern, and CBSE New Guidelines For 10th and 12th class in this article.

The Covid Crisis has made 2020-21 an extremely uncertain year. It has been an arduous journey for the students, as well as teachers. A shift from the offline mode, to a completely online mode, has become the ‘new normal’.  Many students who were to appear for CBSE boards exams, have had a difficult year because there have been no substantial exams for nearly a year and there were constant doubts about the CBSE assessment pattern 2021. Students were promoted solely based on internal evaluations.

The CBSE had directed that the new CBSE Academic Session 2021-22 began in April, and the board had also announced the new syllabus for all the subjects. The new CBSE Syllabus 2021-22 (PDF) or CBSE Curriculum 2021-22 for classes IX, X, XI, and XII classes is released on the official portal- . According to CBSE’s new assessment policy for 2021-22, board exams will be held in two terms: Term 1 and Term 2.

Students should be aware that the CBSE curriculum is for Classes 9 and 12. CBSE does not write or publish books. The NCERT coursework is used to create the curriculum.  The syllabus for grades 1 to 8 is largely determined by the schools, with the NCERT providing broad guidelines.

Internal and main exams will not cover the topics that have been removed. Students who are starting a new class can view and download their subject-specific syllabus from this website or the official website.
